The animal is nocturnal and dwell mainly in wet forests and swamps.

Today, very few are left of these impressive aninals, which can weight more than 1300 kg and be 3,8 m long.

The long legged Abyssinian or Ethiopian wolf live in the mountains of Ethiopia.
Sadly, only a few are left of these elegant creatures in southern Ethitopia and in northern Ethiopia.
