Songimvelo Nature Reserve |
Songimvelo is big 4 country, since the lion is missing. The reserve is accessable by horse but riding here is said to be challenging.
The Komati River flows through the wilderness of Songimvelo, which is home to blesbok, zebra, kudu etc. Leopard is fairly common too.
More than 300 bird species have been recorded and plant diversity is very high.
