They live in savanna woodlands and need access to water.

Throughout Africa the Nile crocodile is feared as a man-killer. They are large. A specimen was measured 6,45 m in length and over 1000 kg in weigth. (Tanzania)

The nile crocodile thrives in swamps, marshes, rivers and lakes and is the third largest reptile found.

The fastest land animal of them all - the Cheetah, able to reach speeds of 115 km/hour, but only for short distances.

Even so they out performm most sports cars as they accelerate from 0 to 84 km/hr in just 3 seconds.

he magnificent giraffe is the tallest land-living animal with a max length recorded of almost 6 m.

This unique animal inhabits grasslands and savannahs troughout Africa, from Chad to South Africa

Hyraxes or dassies comes in three species: rock/bush/tree hyrax. These small animals are very adaptable.

They can live in very different habitats like on the dry savanna or in the dense rainforest.
