Mt Elgon National Park |
Straddling the Kenya/Uganda border is the volcanic cone of Mount Elgon. At 4320 m, it is one of East Africa's tallest mountains. The mountain looms over exotic forests, hot springs, and cold-water lakes. The Mt. Elgon National Park covers an area of 169 sq. km, starting at an altitude of 3000 m.

Tsavo East National Park |
This is the largest national park in Kenya and hosts herds of elephants and other wildlife. Tsavo East and Tsavo West are divided into east and west sections by the railway and the road that connects Nairobi with Mombasa.
The Tsavo river flow through the park and Chyulu Hills National Park borders Tsavo West as do the Mkomazi Game Reserve in Tanzania.
