Maiko National Park |
Maiko National Park is a remote wilderness of humid, evergreen rainforest. This is the home of the Congo peacock and the eastern lowland gorilla. Unfortunately, like elsewhere in Congo, this is not a safe park due to the presence of armed poachers.
