Sioma Ngwezi National Park

Sioma Ngwezi National park is situated in the southwestern corner of Zambia, along the border of Namibia and Angola. The park itself covers aprox 5276 sq kilometers, but together with the West Zambezi game management area, an impressive 43346 sq kilometers big, unfenced game reserve is created. Beeing unfenced makes this area ideal for wildlife migrations between the reserve, the Zambezi and parks in Namibia.

Sioma Ngwezi is the only Zambian park except for the Luangwa valley area and Mosi o-Tunya that host giraffes. Vegetation is merely dense woodland in a flat and dry landscape.
